About me

The family environment of love for music I experienced as a child instilled in me the passion I have turned into my daily life as a professional cellist. It has become my way of artistic and personal expression, with the characteristic warmth of the string instrument considered closest to the human ear.

Working on sound and interpretation to meet your own expectations becomes a process of constant change and improvement, combining classical training and the influence of society that forces you to constantly adapt.

Born in Maó in 1981, he completed his advanced studies in cello and chamber music with masters Marçal Cervera, Sergi Boadella and Mariano García, and received masterclasses from renowned performers such as P.Thiemann, Atsushi Sakai, Claudia Gabrielli and the Endellion String Quartet.

His orchestral and chamber music experience has been intense and enriching, mainly with the Ensemble Tramuntana, led by American violinist Barry Sargent, and with OCIM, with whom since 2000 he has performed with prestigious soloists and conductors such as Gordan Nikolic, Michael Thomas, Leonard Elsenbroich and Francesc Prat. He has performed in venues such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and the Amphitheatre of El Djem in Tunisia.

In other areas of music and art, he has collaborated with numerous projects and artists from the island, notably with singer-songwriter Guiem Soldevila, with whom he has developed a very prolific artistic activity including several recordings, with outstanding performances at the Roman Amphitheatre of Tarragona, Cova de´n Xoroi, Torre de’n Galmés, Pedreres de Líthica, Saint-Remy de Provence(Francia) o Harrogate(Reino Unido).

He currently combines his artistic facets with other projects in development, as well as teaching in Mallorca and Menorca.
